How Solar Leasing Works
Leasing has generally two options, financial lease and operational lease. We only offer operational lease, because financial lease is essentially the same as a loan. Operational lease means that we remain the legal owner of the solar system and you use it for the duration of the lease term. Our standard lease term is 15 years.
Since we remain the owner of the solar system, we are responsible for maintaining and insuring it while you, as the user, enjoy the benefits of the energy the system generates. After the 15-years lease term, you can choose if you would like to renew the lease term with another five years (at a lower lease fee), if you prefer to buy the system from us at a very low purchase fee or if you like us to remove the system from your roof. The choice is up to you!
