1. How does the solar subscription work? With our solar subscription, you pay a fixed monthly fee starting from AWG 90, and we take care of the rest. That includes installation, maintenance, insurance, 24/7 monitoring, and guaranteed energy performance. You get all the benefits of solar without the responsibilities of ownership.
2. Is the system mine if I choose the subscription? Not at first. With the subscription, Solar Plan owns and maintains the system while you enjoy the energy savings. However, you can choose to buy the system at any time, with a discount based on your subscription payments.
3. Can I buy the system later if I change my mind? Yes. You can purchase the system at any point during your subscription. We’ll discount you for fees paid and you can still spread the remaining cost over 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 years (our 1-to-5 option) with 0% interest, zero down payment.
4. How does this compare to buying a system outright? Buying requires a large upfront investment or financing. That means you’re either taking on debt or waiting years to earn back your investment. With a subscription, you start benefiting from day one with no debt and no payback period.
5. Will a loan for solar affect my credit or ability to borrow? Yes. Financing a solar system adds debt to your name and may impact your credit score or your ability to qualify for other loans. Our subscription avoids this entirely.
6. What happens if I move or sell my house? We make it easy to transfer your subscription to the new homeowner or explore other options. Just reach out and we’ll guide you through the process.
7. What if I rent a house? Can I still join? Yes, but you will need to have approval from the owner. Since solar systems are installed on the property, we’ll need this consent from the owner. It also helps to make the transfer of the subscription to a new tenant easier (if that ever happens) since you have the backing of the owner. We’re happy to help explain the benefits to the owner and work out a solution that works for everyone.

9. What happens if Solar Plan becomes insolvent or goes bankrupt? In the unlikely event that Solar Plan becomes insolvent, a court-appointed administrator will manage the process. Their job is to ensure all existing contracts, obligations, and customer agreements are upheld and transferred to a new owner or service provider. Your system will keep working and your agreement will remain valid. Our use of high-quality, lease-grade materials ensures ongoing system performance regardless of ownership changes.
